...but after using this Sonicare toothbrush, I'm not so sure anymore. My boyfriend and I bought this set at our local Costco after his Oral-B electric toothbrush died (mine was still going strong). We stumbled upon this set, and another customer at the store was telling us how much she loved it, so we decided to purchase it.

We anxiously brought it home and set everything up. We allowed the toothbrushes to charge for 24 hours before the first use per the manufacturer's instructions. The next morning, we headed into the bathroom and tried the "Clean and White" setting. Basically it is the "Clean" setting with an added 20-30 seconds of intense brushing at the end. It is meant to be used on your front teeth that are visible when smiling.

I felt like I had just left the dentist's office when we were done, my mouth and teeth felt that clean. It didn't aggravate my gums and the clean feeling seemed to last all day. I would highly recommend this set to anyone shopping for a new electric toothbrush.

I researched and researched and finally settled on this one from Costco. I read all the positive reviews, almost unanimously 5 stars which is unheard of and figured I'd try it out. Could not be happier with it. My wife was very hesitant to try it out (said it was probably a waste of time and $)...Later that night she threw away the old toothbrushes, seriously.

Buy this if you're in the market for an electric toothbrush.

We adore our sonicare brushes. My husband went from having a cavity or two a year to none in over two years of using this brush. The extra charging station did die in less than a year, but still is a great unit. Does a fantastic job of truly cleaning your teeth. Absolutely no plaque when I go in for cleanings. Just spend the money!
